NON-ADVANCING / EXHIBITION ONLY

Non-advancing / Exhibition: For the younger cheerleaders on our 8U squads, non-advancing provides the opportunity for the team to perform at a competition, it also provides the opportunity for the cheerleaders to experience the competitive side of cheerleading without the pressure of advancing.  Non-advancing teams may be placed at invitational or local competition events but do not advance to States/regionals. It is important to note that athletes are REQUIRED to attend these important showcases. Practices after August are limited to 2x a week, however may increase when needed leading up to a competition at the discretion of the Head Coach.

Advancing: on our 10U/12U/14U/16U squads advancing provides the opportunity for the team’s routine to be judged, the squad to be placed and to advance. Advancing teams compete at invitational and Local competitions with the goal of placing in order to advance to State, Regional, and National Championship competitions.  Advancing teams will practice 2-3x a week after August beginning in September and also may increase when needed leading up to a competition at the discretion of the Head Coach.

*See more information below regarding practice and competition schedules*

Game Day Only (optional): Cheering for football games will take place on Saturdays and/or Sundays throughout September and October, with potential postseason games late October- early November.

The program will also include cheerleading competitions that will take place on weekends. The competitions will provide the cheerleaders with the opportunity to showcase their skills and compete against other cheerleading squads from different towns.

Sideline / Competition Attendance is included in our attendance policy which will be shared and need to be signed by athlete and caregiver.
